The 2025 WNBA Draft Set for April 14 in New York City
The 2025 WNBA Draft will take place on Monday, April 14, at The Shed in New York City, with live coverage beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. The event will also stream live on the ESPN App, with pre-draft coverage starting at 7 p.m. ET.
Top prospects will attend the event, which moves to Manhattan’s Hudson Yards for the first time. The draft will be a seated event with fans in attendance for the second consecutive year. Individual tickets will be available through Ticketmaster starting Friday, March 21, at 10 a.m. ET, with exclusive experiences offered through WNBA Experiences.
The Dallas Wings hold the No. 1 pick, followed by the Seattle Storm at No. 2 and the Washington Mystics at Nos. 3 and 4. The Golden State Valkyries, the league’s first expansion team in 17 years, will select fifth.
Ahead of the draft, invited prospects will appear on the WNBA’s “Orange Carpet” and participate in a lighting ceremony at the Empire State Building.
The WNBA’s 29th regular season will tip off on Friday, May 16.
