WNBA Officially Announces Indiana Fever As The Host Of The 2025 WNBA All-Star Game

The WNBA officially announced that the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game will be held at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, home of the Indiana Fever. Scheduled for Saturday, July 19, this will be the 21st WNBA All-Star Game and the first time Indianapolis has the honor of hosting the league’s midseason celebration.

In addition to the All-Star Game on Saturday, July 19, fans can look forward to the 3-Point Contest and the Skills Challenge, which will take place on Friday, July 18. The WNBA Live event returns for its fourth year, offering a two-day interactive experience that blends sports, fashion, music, and culture.

The 2024 All-Star Game, broadcast on ABC from a sold-out Footprint Center in Phoenix, reached 3.44 million viewers, making it the most-watched WNBA All-Star Game in history. WNBA Live, held at the Phoenix Convention Center, also saw record participation from 24 corporate partners, a significant increase from previous years, and a 21% rise in fan engagement activities compared to 2023.

“We’re thrilled to bring the AT&T WNBA All-Star Game to Indiana for the first time,” said WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert. “Indianapolis and the entire state of Indiana have an incredible and long-standing passion for basketball, making it the ideal location to celebrate the WNBA and showcase the league’s top talent.”

Mel Raines, CEO of Pacers Sports & Entertainment, echoed this excitement, stating, “The WNBA and women’s basketball are at a pivotal moment in history, and we are delighted that Indiana will be at the heart of it all during next season’s All-Star Game. Our community leaders are ready to do what we do best: warmly welcome fans from across the nation and the world, set a new standard for future host cities, and create a lasting legacy for our city and state.”
