After getting beat on the road by Stanford on Saturday, Baylor fell three places to No. 6. For their efforts, the Cardinal advanced three places to re-enter the top ten at No. 8.
Last week’s No. 7 team, Oregon State saw a decline of four spots. The Beavers suffered a loss late Saturday night in Hawaii at the hands of then-unranked Texas A&M. After taking down Oregon State, the Aggies re-entered the poll at No. 23.
South Dakota appears in the poll for the first time this season after adding to last week’s upsets. The Coyotes beat previously-ranked Missouri on the Tigers’ court. The win marked the first time that South Dakota beat a ranked team on the road. Missouri fell out of the top 25.
South Carolina also took a tumble landing out of the rankings for the first time this season. The Gamecocks struggled to put away unranked Purdue in a game that went into overtime on Sunday.
