Dallas Wings sign Tiffany Bias to seven-day contract, waive Brianna Kiesel

From the team:

The Dallas Wings signed guard Tiffany Bias to a seven-day contract on Monday, July 18. In order to make room for Bias, the Wings have waived guard Brianna Kiesel.

Bias was selected by the Phoenix Mercury with the 17th overall pick in the 2014 WNBA Draft. While with the Mercury she played in 32 regular season games and appeared in 6 WNBA playoff games, winning a WNBA Championship with the team in the 2014. The Mercury waived Bias before the beginning of the 2016 season. She was picked up by Seattle on May 10 and waived by the Storm on May 13.

“Tiffany brings energy, speed and tenacity to our roster,” said General Manager Greg Bibb. “She has playoff experience and has won a WNBA Championship. We are excited to have her join our team and help us improve.”

The Wichita, KS native will join the team this week, as the Wings prepare for the remaining two games before going the Olympic break. Dallas will host the Connecticut Sun, Wednesday, July 20 at College Park Center before finishing off the week against Atlanta on the road on Friday, July 22.
