This week the Post Up Podcast features basketball great Tina Thompson. Her list of accolades is a long one. As a college player she helped lead Southern California to three NCAA tournament appearances including an Elite Eight berth. She is a WNBA pioneer as the number one overall pick in the league’s inaugural draft in 1997. True fans are familiar with her four championships with the Houston Comets and her two Olympic gold medals with USA Basketball. She ended her playing career in 2013 as the the WNBA’s all-time leading scorer. Currently, she is an assistant coach at Texas, a team that has experienced a dramatic turnaround in the past couple of years, ending this past season in the Elite Eight.
