Taurasi and Lyttle lead UMMC Ekaterinburg to 2016 EuroLeague title
Diana Taurasi (Phoenix Mercury) and Sancho Lyttle (Atlanta Dream) led UMMC Ekaterinburg to the team’s 3rd EuroLeague title Sunday beating Nadezhda 72-69. Taurasi led UMMC in scoring with 22 points while Lyttle finished with a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds.
Taurasi’s Mercury teammate DeWanna Bonner led Nadezhda with 26 points and nine rebounds. Kayla McBride (San Antonio Stars) was also in double figures for Nadezhda with 20 points.
