Minnesota Lynx sign guard Katerina Elhotova
The Minnesota Lynx signed guard Katerina Elhotova. Per team policy, terms of the agreements were not disclosed.

Elhotova, a 5-11 guard from Praha, Czech Republic, currently plays for USK Praha. This year is her 10th season playing for USK Praha where she has appeared in 10 games in the Czech Republic League averaging 13.1 points 3.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists. She has also appeared in 14 EuroLeague games with USK Praha, averaging 11.2 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists.
In 10 Czech League games this season Elhotova is shooting 45.5% (20-for-44) from three-point range. Over her last six seasons with USK Praha, Elhotova has shot 44.8% (236-for-527) from beyond the arc in Czech League games alone and 43.7% (362-for-829) in Czech League and EuroLeague games combined.
Elhotova represented Czech Republic in the 2012 Olympic Games and 2008 Olympic Games where Czech placed seventh in both events. Her Czech team won silver in the 2010 FIBA World Championships, with Elhotova averaging 6.5 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists in nine games. Elhotova also represented the Czech Republic in 2014 FIBA World Championship, with the team placing ninth.
Elhotova, 26, played alongside Lynx guard Lindsay Whalen on USK Praha for five seasons from 2007-2012. Lynx forward Rebekkah Brunson also played one season with Elhotova on USK Praha in 2012-13.
The Lynx will kick of their 18th season in the WNBA at home on Saturday, May 14 against the Phoenix Mercury.
