Women’s basketball schedule adjustments due to winter weather include No. 5 Maryland vs. No. 21 Michigan State

Winter weather on the East Coast is the culprit behind the postponement of many women’s basketball games this weekend. Maryland canceled all weekend athletic events including the No. 5 Terrapins’ matchup against No. 21 Michigan State on Saturday. The game has been postponed indefinitely. It was previously rescheduled for Monday. The schools and the Big Ten conference are working to set a new date.
Fans may exchange Michigan State tickets for any of the remaining regular season home games. The exchange should take place in advance of the desired game at the box office, or by mailing in the original tickets. Maryland’s game at Penn State (7-11, 2-5) has been moved from Tuesday evening to Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Bryce Jordan Center in University Park, Pa. and will be streamed online through BTN Plus.
Changes to games originally scheduled on Jan. 23
- UNC Asheville at High Point time change
UNC Asheville’s game scheduled for Saturday afternoon at High Point will be played, with game time moved back to 4:30 p.m. - Sacred Heart at Wagner doubleheader postponed to Jan. 24
The women’s game between the Seahawks and Pioneers will tip off at 1:00 p.m. with the men’s game slated to begin at 4:00 p.m. - The George Mason-George Washington game, originally scheduled for Saturday, will be played at the Charles E. Smith Center Friday at noon.
- LIU Brooklyn and St. Francis Brooklyn doubleheader times change
The women’s game, originally scheduled for a 5:00 p.m. tipoff, will now begin at 12:00 p.m., with the men’s game to follow afterwards. - Manhattan at Rider postponed
The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game has been moved to Monday evening at 7 p.m. in Alumni Gymnasium. - Monmouth vs Iona has been moved to Sunday, Jan.24 at 5 p.m.
- Old Dominion at Marshall game rescheduled
Game time is tentatively set for 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. It will be free of charge to anyone who can make it safely into the Cam Henderson Center. The game will be streamed on Herdzone.com. - Lafayette at Lehigh game postponed
Lafayette will now play at Lehigh on Wednesday at 5 p.m. - Temple’s Saturday games postponed
Temple’s game against Houston, which had been scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday, will now be played on Friday, Feb. 12, tip time and TV to be determined. - Campbell at Winthrop postponed
The game will be pushed back 24 hours and will now be played on Sunday (Jan. 24) at 1 p.m. Video coverage will be provided on the Big South Sports Network. - American-Holy Cross game postponed
American University’s women’s basketball game at Holy Cross, originally scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 23, has been postponed. The Patriot League matchup will now be played on Tuesday, Jan. 26, at 7:05 p.m. - George Washington vs. George Mason game schedule change
Saturday’s George Washington women’s basketball game against Revolutionary Rival and Atlantic 10 foe George Mason at the Charles E. Smith Center has been moved to Friday at noon - Coppin State doubleheader against North Carolina A&T rescheduled for January 27
The Coppin State University men’s and women’s basketball home game against North Carolina A&T University scheduled for Saturday, January 23rd has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 27th. The women’s contest will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by the men’s game at 7:30 p.m. - Postponement of a FAMU doubleheaders with Howard and Maryland Eastern Shore
- Saturday’s FAMU-Howard basketball doubleheader will be moved to next Wednesday, January 27  at Burr Gymnasium in Washington, D.C. The Women’s game is at 5:00 p.m., followed by the men’s Game at  7:00 p.m.
- FAMU vs. Maryland-Eastern Shore postponed indefinitely.
- Monday’s doubleheader between Howard and Bethune-Cookman has rescheduled to Tuesday, January 26 at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.
- Jacksonville State’s contest with Morehead State on Saturday pushed back to Monday, January 25.
The Gamecocks and Eagles were scheduled to tip off at 1:30 CT on Saturday, but Monday’s contest will get underway at 5 p.m. CT. - Belmont vs. Tennessee State rescheduled
The game will take place Sunday, Jan. 24 at 2 p.m. CT from the Curb Event Center. The game will be broadcast on OVC Digital Network. - UT Martin basketball doubleheader vs. Southeast Missouri moved to Sunday
This weekend’s Ohio Valley Conference basketball doubleheader between Southeast Missouri and UT Martin has been moved to Sunday, January 24. The women’s game is scheduled for 2 p.m., CT, and the men’s contest is set for 4:15 p.m. at the Show Me Center. - Longwood-Liberty game postponed
The Longwood women will open a Sunday doubleheader against Liberty at 2 p.m. in Willett Hall, followed by the Longwood men’s matchup against Winthrop at 5 p.m. - Wofford vs. Western Carolina schedule adjustment
The game at Western Carolina Saturday afternoon has been postponed to Monday at 4 p.m. - FGCU at Lipscomb postponed until Jan. 24 at 4:30 p.m.
There has been no decision made on Monday’s scheduled FGCU at Kennesaw State game at this time. - North Carolina Central men’s and women’s doubleheader at Delaware State postponed
Games are being rescheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 27 with the women’s game starting at 5 p.m. and the men’s contest slated to tip-off at 7 p.m. - Jacksonville State at Morehead State doubleheader postponed to Jan. 24
The men’s game will be played on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. ET, while the women’s game will be played on Monday night at 6 p.m. ET.

Sunday’s Delaware vs. William & Mary contest now scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. - Sunday’s Drexel at Northeastern rescheduled
Sunday’s game at Northeastern has been shifted to Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. The game will still take place in Boston at the Huskies’ Solomon Court. Friday evening’s battle with Delaware in Newark is on as scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. tip. - NJIT vs. North Florida moved to Monday at 7 p.m.
The home game against Jacksonville, originally slated for Monday, January 25 at 7 pm, has been pushed back a day to Tuesday, January 26 at 7 pm in the Fleisher Athletic Center. - The Dayton-Saint Joseph’s game is still scheduled for Sunday
Originally slated for noon, will now tip off at 5:00 p.m. The game will air on CBS Sports Network on tape delay at 10:30 p.m. - VCU vs. Richmond postponed
The game against crosstown rival VCU scheduled for Sunday at 3 p.m. is now postponed to a later date and time that is still to be determined. - James Madison at College of Charleston in Charleston, S.C. postponed indefinitely
