Atlanta Dream forward Cierra Burdick to undergo surgery for stress fracture

Atlanta Dream forward Cierra Burdick will undergo surgery on Wednesday morning at Emory Hospital in Atlanta to repair a stress fracture in her left foot. Burdick is expected to be sidelined 4-6 weeks.

She was averaging 4.4 points and 3.2 rebounds while appearing in 11 games and making four starts after signing with Atlanta on June 17.
