Fever’s Tamika Catchings suspended one game without pay for making contact with a game official

Indiana Fever forward Tamika Catchings has been suspended one game without pay for making contact with a game official announced Todd DeMoss, associate vice president, WNBA basketball operations. The incident occurred with 5:54 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Fever’s 77-74 win over the Phoenix Mercury (1-2) at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on June 12.

Catchings will serve her suspension tomorrow when the Chicago Sky (1-2) plays the Fever (1-3) in Indianapolis.
