UTEP’s Jenzel Nash to miss 2014-15 season due to pregnancy

UTEP head coach Keitha Adams issue the following statement:
“We are aware of Jenzel’s medical situation. She will not be playing basketball this year but there is more to college athletics than what she does on the court. It is also about her health, well-being, success in the classroom and ultimately in life.”
The message that accompanied the Instagram photo of Nash’s ultrasound images:
“I guess it’s about time to let the world know about my new little bundle of joy Zion Martez Yelder :) I was never hiding him btw… my basketball career is not over!!! I’m just sitting out this season.”
Nash also missed the 2012-13 season due to a torn ACL.
