Photos: 2013 NBA All-Star Weekend Day of Service includes WNBA players and league president
NBA All-Star Weekend includes a tradition of kicking off the festivities with a “Day of Service” to support communities in need through hands-on service projects. WNBA players join NBA All-Stars, NBA players and legends along with community leaders for the event. This year the NBA partnered with the Houston Food Bank, KaBOOM! and Rebuilding Together to create projects that support communities in need throughout Houston. WNBA league president Laurel Richie joined several players in the day’s service activities.
