Los Angeles Sparks sign guard Dawn Evans

 

The Los Angeles Sparks signed former James Madison standout guard Dawn Evans.

Evans, 5-7, played in three preseason games with the Connecticut Sun this season. At JMU, she averaged 21.4 points and 4.5 assists per game during her college career. She was also named the CAA Conference Player of the Year in her senior season and an All-American Honorable Mention. Evans led the Dukes to two straight CAA titles in 2010 and 2011.
