New Boost Mobile WNBA ad debuts on June 23, 2012

A new television ad from Boost Mobile, the first-ever marquee partner of the WNBA, debuts on June 23. “It’s All About the W” features game footage and will air during the Chicago Sky versus Minnesota Lynx game at 12:30 p.m. ET. The teams will also wear special jerseys commemorating the anniversary of Title IX.

The Boost Mobile logo is on the jersey of 11 WNBA teams. The San Antonio Silver Stars play in the AT&T Center and have an existing mobile sponsorship with the namesake of the arena. Last season the Phoenix Mercury did not have the Boost Mobile logo on its jerseys in the first year of the marquee partnership with the mobile virtual network operator. The Mercury had an existing sponsorship with Verizon. Boost Mobile operates on the Sprint Nextel network.
