Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award finalists announced
Ten NCAA women’s basketball student-athletes were selected as finalists today for the 2011-12 Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award. The list includes students who excel in the community, classroom, character and competition.
The name of the award is an acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School. A media committee chose the candidates from an initial list of 60. Fans and media votes will determine the winner. The top vote-getter will be announced during the Final Four April 1 and 3 in Denver.
