Kara Lawson raises $17,000 for Alzheimer’s research and to honor Pat Summitt

Three miles and some yards, $17,000:

“She’s doing great,” Lawson told The Associated Press. “She’s excited about the season and this team. Getting back into the routine of the season is really good for her. She’s an inspiration. She continues to do her job while living with the disease.”
