Silver Stars rookie Danielle Adams to miss four to six weeks due to foot sprain

San Antonio Silver Stars forward Danielle Adams is expected to miss four to six weeks due to a mid-foot sprain of her right foot. Adams sustained the injury during the Silver Stars’ game at Washington on July 26.
A 2011 WNBA All-Star, Adams is averaging 14.3 points per game and 4.60 rebounds per game, ranking third on the team in both categories. The 20th overall pick in the 2011 WNBA Draft, Adams earned WNBA Rookie of the Month honors for June after leading all rookies in scoring (15.1) and field goal percentage (51.1). The Kansas City, Mo. native set a franchise rookie record with 32 points in the third game of the season against Atlanta and was one of four rookies named to the WNBA All-Star Game.
