Foes and friends: Baylor’s Brittney Griner and Texas A&M’s Danielle Adams

INDIANAPOLIS – At Saturday morning’s award presentation for the WBCA All-America team, Final Four participant Danielle Adams of Texas A&M sat among her peers smiling and enjoying their company. Baylor sophomore center Brittney Griner was among those other celebrated athletes. Although the two come from teams that fought hard against each other four times this season, culminating in a victory for the Aggies in the NCAA DI Elite Eight, they have nothing but respect and admiration for each other.
