Baylor still on top of AP Poll
The Baylor Lady Bears remain atop of the Associated Press women’s basketball poll. After toppling UConn three weeks ago, Baylor solidified its position over the past week with wins in the Big 12 conference. The Lady Bears are on a 13-game win streak. They defeated Oklahoma State on Saturday 70-39.
Baylor received 25 of 40 first place votes. Iowa State fell a bit in the poll, landing at No. 20 from being at No. 17. Baylor defeated the Cyclones who are 0-3 in conference play after also suffering losses to Nebraska and Colorado.
Syracuse fell out while Georgia entered at No. 24.
Rounding out the top five: Connecticut, Duke, Stanford and Tennessee.
