Seattle beat Atlanta Tuesday night 87-84 in game two of the WNBA Finals. A crowd of 13,898 watched Lauren Jackson lead the Storm with 26 points at KeyArena.
Other Storm players in double digits included Swin Cash with 19, Tanisha Wright with 17 and Sue Bird with 10.
Angel McCoughtry and Iziane Castro Marques each scored 21 points for Atlanta. Erika Desouza added 11 and Sancho Lyttle finished with 10.
Seattle now leads the best-of-five series 2-0. The team now has a 20-0 home court winning streak and finished regular season at 28-6 (17-0 at home). The Storm’s 17-0 home record is the WNBA’s best since the league moved to a 34-game regular season schedule. The Storm swept the Los Angeles Sparks and the Phoenix Mercury in two games apiece in the first two rounds of the playoffs.
