Phoenix Mercury injury update on DeWanner Bonner

The Phoenix Mercury released information regarding forward DeWanna Bonner’s injury. The second-year player out of Auburn sustained an elbow to the head with 1:25 remaining in the third quarter of a 104-82 loss to Indiana on Sunday night. She left the game to go to the hospital for evaluation. Bonner has been released from the hospital with a mild concussion and will be reevaluated day-to-day.
