UConn and Stanford meet again
The last time UConn and Stanford met, the Pac-10 champs were on a 9-0 win streak heading into the XL Center in Hartford. However, the Huskies handed the Cardinal their one and only loss of the season in front of a sellout crowd of 16,294. UConn, on the other hand, remained undefeated and come into the championship game of the NCAA women’s basketball tournament with a 77-0 streak. The Huskies are looking to complete their second straight unbeaten season.
