Washington University in St. Louis earns its fifth Division III title
While Division I teams were wrapping up post-game activities, Division III Washington University in St. Louis began celebrating winning its fifth championship. The sixth-seeded Bears defeated No. 4 Hope College 65-59 at the Shirk Center in Bloomington, Illinois.
Jaimie McFarlin led the Bears with 14 points, 15 rebounds and two assists. For Hope, Carrie Snikkers had 22 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks.
