USA Basketball Gears Up for 2024 FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series

USA Basketball unveiled the two teams that will compete at the 2024 FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series in Springfield, MA. The event is set to take place on April 23-24 at the  Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.

Team USA

The Team USA roster includes Cierra Burdick, Rhyne Howard, Lexie Hull, and Hailey Van Lith. Burdick, a seasoned player since 2014, clinched the 2023 FIBA 3×3 Women’s World Cup title alongside Van Lith. Hull brought home the gold at the 2023 Pan American Games, while Howard is making a competitive comeback after her silver win at the 2019 USA Basketball 3X Nationals.

Team Springfield

Team Springfield features Cameron Brink, Allisha Gray, Dearica Hamby, and Linnae Harper. Gray is returning to the 3×3 court for the first time since her golden victory at the 2020 Olympic Games. Brink and Harper, both veterans of the 2023 FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series, were part of the gold-medal-winning team at the 2023 FIBA 3×3 World Cup. Hamby made a splash in her 3×3 debut by winning gold at the 2023 FIBA 3×3 Women’s AmeriCup.

A Week of Basketball Excitement

USA Basketball is hosting two FIBA 3×3 pro circuit competitions this week in Springfield. The action kicks off with a Quest, a FIBA 3×3 Men’s World Tour Qualifier, followed by the FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series. Both events will be held at the Hall of Fame. Fans can watch the action purchase of a museum ticket.

The Women’s Series Stop will feature eight teams battling it out on the court. The top finishers will have the chance to improve their opportunities for future stops, all leading up to the 2024 FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series Final.
