Dallas Wings sign guard Tiffany Bias to a one-year contract
The Dallas Wings signed guard Tiffany Bias to a one-year contract. Bias initially joined the Wings in July of 2016.
“Tiffany did a nice job when she joined the team mid-way through last season. She enhances our team speed, gives us depth at the point guard position and improves our perimeter defense,” said Wings general manager Greg Bibb. “We are excited to see Tiffany in training camp, competing for a 2017 roster spot.”
Bias appeared in nine games for the Wings in 2016, averaging 2.9 points per game. Last season, she set career milestones in points and rebounds during the campaign.
Selected by the Phoenix Mercury as the 17th overall pick in the 2014 WNBA Draft, Bias began her professional career in Phoenix, appearing in 32 regular season games and six WNBA playoff contests while winning a WNBA Championship in Phoenix.
The Wings will tip-off the 2017 season on May 14 in Phoenix to face the Phoenix Mercury, and will open at home on May 20 against the Minnesota Lynx.
