Silver Stars forward Chamique Holdsclaw has a torn Achilles tendon

The San Antonio Silver Stars announced Tuesday that forward Chamique Holdsclaw has a torn right Achilles tendon. She suffered the injury during a game at Minnesota on Sunday, August 15. An MRI revealed a torn right Achilles tendon.

She will miss the remainder of the 2010 season and is expected to have surgery. The surgery date has not yet been set.
